Phylicia was doing a lot of theater work at the time. Condola fulfilled all of her duties as an assistant. She did everything, from waking her mother up from a nap to telling her it was time to go on stage to make her tea.

She would sit in the audience and take notes throughout her mother’s performances, just like an assistant.

Condola shared a couple of photos with her mother on Instagram on Mother’s Day in 2020.

The caption was a long, lovely piece in which she expressed her gratitude for becoming her mother’s daughter.
