“We are devastated to announce the passing of our mother… We miss and adore her, and we know that her legacy will endure forever,” her children wrote on her Instagram.

The diva was well-known for her appearances in a number of heavy metal music videos, including Ratt’s Back for More and Whitesnake’s Still of the Night and Here I Go Again.

She Underwent Surgery Due to Insecurities

During her 2017 appearance on the E! reality program Botched, the late actress discussed how she decided to get breast implants in the 1980s.

She disclosed she had insecurities regarding her appearance, despite having a successful career.

Drs. Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif, who interviewed Kitaen after her confession, explained that she may have felt immense pressure to appear her best at the height of her career.

As a consequence, Kitaen considered enlarging her breasts to extend her reign a bit longer.

In addition to breast augmentation, the Hercules actress also had facial surgery, which she spoke less about than her breast implants.

She Had Her Breast Implants Removed.

Kitaen appeared on Botched, a program in which expert plastic surgeons attempt to repair botched plastic surgeries, to have her breast implants removed, as her sixth surgery had gone horribly wrong.

“Within six months [after her implants], the implants started slipping through the mesh, and now the implants are like down to the bottom of my, um, ribcage,” she said, describing the current state of her implants.

She added that she was unhappy with her breast size, stating that they were too large.

Dr. Dubrow questioned her, “Oh, so you’re completely against implants.” She replied affirmatively and requested that the surgeons remove the implants and restore her natural appearance.

The surgeons could not believe that an actress asked them to remove all of her implants, but they immediately understood that after a certain amount of time, one could grow tired of all of these items.

In addition, they commended Kitaen for wishing to eliminate her complications and vowed to do their best.

The actress took to Twitter on September 1, 2017 to update her followers on her implant removal surgery.
