DiSpirito’s Cooking Career and Net Worth

DiSpirito has appeared in a number of cooking shows, including the NBC reality TV show The Restaurant, which chronicled the development and operation of Rocco’s on 22nd, another Manhattan cafe.

He was teamed with traditional expert dancer Karina Smirnoff on season seven of Dancing with the Stars. In the year 2000, he made his broadcast debut on the Food Network show The Melting Pot. Gourmet magazine labeled him “America’s Most Exciting Young Chef” about the same period.
DiSpirito is well known for his participation at ‘Union Pacific,’ a restaurant in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood that he launched in 1997.

A woman at the adjacent table was groaning in unrestrained ecstasy as she ate, according to Ruth Reichl of the New York Times, who gave it three stars. Even so, it was difficult to pinpoint which dish had elicited such a response because practically every meal was deserving of such screams.

The award-winning chef began hosting a show called Dine Around Downtown- Cooking At Home Edition in 2020. The episode involves a virtual dine-around with chefs from several Downtown NYC restaurants at home.

In 2020, DiSpirito will release his new book, Rocco’s Keto Comfort Food Diet. Furthermore, looking back on his career, he has undoubtedly amassed a net worth in the millions.

Rocco DiSpirito’s Wife: Who Is She?

Before marrying his undergraduate sweetheart, Natalie David, DiSpirito dated Katie Brown and Deborah Schoeneman. Neither of his partnerships, however, turned very well. His marriage to Natalie David hit rock bottom shortly, and they divorced in 2000. Their wedding was alleged to have been called off due to the couple’s differences. He swiftly re-entered the dating scene after their divorce.
DiSpirito dated actress Yvonne Scio after his divorce, and the two even became engaged. Unfortunately, the couple’s romance did not endure long, and they divorced in March 2004.

Following in the footsteps of Yvonne Scio, he was spotted with Tracey E. Edmonds at the Mercedes-Benz Oscar viewing party in 2008. Rocco and Tracey, on the other hand, avoided discussing their relationship.
Despite the fact that the chef is normally associated with ladies, there have been allegations that he is gay. The rumor began after DiSpirito and Jai Rodriguez were spotted together at a homosexual club, according to a website. They also missed the Bewitched after-party in favor of a drink with each other.

However, based on Rocco’s past relationships, we may conclude that he is not gay and that the two are only buddies. Rodriguez backed up his claim by saying:

“It was transformed into something it wasn’t. We hang around, have dinners together, and are fully platonic. But I adore him as if he were a brother…”

The Weight Loss Journey

At one point in his life, DiSpirito was overweight and had to go through a weight-loss program. As a result of his Mediterranean-style diet, he shed 41 pounds.

DiSpirito told People magazine that being overweight caused his cholesterol and blood pressure levels to rise, and that after losing weight by eating healthily and exercising twice a day, he gained a new feeling of confidence and no longer feels insecure.

People often speculated that after his successful weight loss journey, he had undergone plastic surgery, but the chef is unconcerned, as he stated-

“Everyone thinks I’m younger than I am. Some folks mistakenly believe I’ve undergone plastic surgery, which I consider a compliment.”

DiSpirito also published a book called The Pound a Day Diet throughout his weight loss struggle.
