Bill Kahan Kapri (born Dieuson Octave), the 24-year-old rapper Kodak Black, is expecting a baby girl with his current partner, Maranda Johnson.

Black already has a six-year-old son, King, from a previous relationship, so this will be his second child and the couple’s first.

On September 6, 2021, the news was confirmed by Bradford Cohen, the Florida rapper’s lawyer, in an interview with TMZ.

According to the publication, Black and Johnson had known one other for roughly four years and had had a child together in April. “As a result, the baby girl is due in late 2021 or early 2022,” according to the newspaper.

Cohen also revealed that he is overjoyed that his second child will be a girl and can’t wait to spoil her. In fact, it’s been alleged that Black has been shopping for her.

In March, Black went live on Instagram, asking for baby name suggestions from his followers. He was accompanied by a lady [probably Johnson] during the live session, who was not seen on camera but objected to several options before offering Melly.

When the news of Black’s second child broke, several of his fans assumed it was his second child’s mother, Mellow Rackz, with whom he had gotten engaged earlier this year in February.

However, numerous sources, including TMZ, have reported that the rapper is expecting his second kid with Johnson and not with his fiancee Rackz.

Rackz first declared her engagement to Black by posting a series of Instagram stories in which she stated the rapper proposed to her while a jet buzzed overhead.

She also shared a number of photos of the couple on social media.

Black’s lawyer, Cohen, later confirmed the details on the rapper’s behalf, saying that his client was ecstatic. Cohen went on to say that Black was doing well and that he was spending time with his family and close friends.

To commemorate their love, the pair got their names tattooed on each other in the same month.

Rackz got Black’s real name, Bill, tattooed in red ink on her cheek, while Black got his girlfriend’s name tattooed on the back of his neck.

Despite this, the two no longer appear together in public, implying that they had already broken up. Furthermore, the announcement of Black’s pregnancy with Johnson makes it plain that Black and Rackz are not currently dating.

The First Baby Mama of Kodak Black

With his ex-partner, Jammiah Broomfield, Black welcomed his son, King. However, since he was imprisoned as a result of his criminal accusations, he and his baby mama called it quits.

Following the breakup, the rapper reached an agreement with Broomfield to settle child support and custody issues. According to court documents, he agreed to pay Broomfield $4,200 every month for King until 2033.

The agreement also guaranteed that they would have regular access to King. As a result, their boy was able to live with both his mother and father.

Broomfield, a 23-year-old high school dropout, moved in with her parents following her breakup with the rapper.
