Meghan Trainor’s husband assisted her in losing weight and changing her lifestyle.

Meghan Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara announced the birth of their baby Riley on social media on Valentine’s Day.

The 27-year-old singer shared a series of images from the hospital with baby Riley.

Riley’s due date was on Valentine’s Day, but he was born on February 8, according to Trainor’s post. She also expressed gratitude to her spouse for the gift of the baby.

Sabara, 28, from Spy Kids, expressed his joy at the news and thanked Trainor for bringing their child into the world.

In 2018, the couple married. They announced the birth of their first child on Instagram on October 7, 2020, with a sonogram of the kid.

The Trainer Discussed Gestational Diabetes

Trainor spoke to Today a few months after her pregnancy announcement about her holiday album release and her pregnancy. The singer confirmed her diagnosis of gestational diabetes in the brief interview, noting that she and the baby were doing OK.

Gestational diabetes is a disorder in which a woman’s blood sugar levels rise during pregnancy, according to Mayo Clinic.

The singer told Today’s Parents how she became more conscious of what she ate and even hired a personal trainer. Her spouse started doing “fruit runs” instead of “chips runs” to satisfy her pregnancy cravings. The singer also boasted about his compassion.

A few days later, the expectant mother shared photographs from her wacky maternity photoshoot, in which she donned an open green gown and a flower crown. She disclosed that her baby was in breach for the second time when updating her fans on her pregnancy.

Her husband has always been supportive of her.

Not only did Trainor release her new single, “No Excuses,” in early 2018, but she also disclosed that she had shed 20 pounds. Sabara changed the artist’s perspective on health and fitness, according to the singer. She praised Sabara and his persistent support in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“He’s really transformed my life.” He prepares meals for me and has taught me to cook,” she exclaimed. Trainor admitted to giving up junk food and relying solely on takeaway. Sabara would make her home-cooked meals.

Following her second vocal cord hemorrhage surgery, the singer altered her lifestyle. Trainor admitted to being depressed because she believed she would never be able to perform again.

Her spouse introduced her to workouts at that time, and she has been obsessed with her fitness regimen ever since.
