Similarly, Louie once desired a $5 toy but was informed he couldn’t afford it by his father. He was disappointed to learn that his father had spent $5 on a case of beer on the same day.
In comparison to how his father used to abuse his mother, these traumatic memories appeared faint to young Louie and his brother. Their family was in serious trouble.

Father Roots forgave him for his sin.

Louie discovered his father’s ancestors after his death. He learned that his father and sister were taken from their house and placed for adoption when he was around eleven years old. On March 21, 2018, he sat down with PEOPLE and revealed,

“They were separated and hadn’t seen one other in 50 years. Because being “put up for adoption” meant being placed in front of a church congregation and having families choose and adopt you. Imagine going somewhere with your sister while you go somewhere else.”
