Timothy Kingsbury (born on 9th August, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas) is a former American footballer who is currently working as the head coach for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL).
Kliff Kingsbury also served as the head coach of his alma mater, Texas Tech University, from 2013 to 2018. Kingsbury was the offensive coordinator for Texas A & M University, coaching Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel during the 2012 season. He started his coaching career as an assistant for the University of Houston from 2008-2011.
During his playing career, he bagged Sammy Baugh Trophy and Associated Press National Offensive Player of the year. He was also the champion of Super Bowl XXXVII.

He also played football during his college years from 1998 to 1999 under coach Spike Dykes and under Mike Leach from 2000 to 2002. He created 39 school records as well as 13 Big 12 Conference records and set 7 NCAA FBS records.
Due to his outstanding performance, the coaches chose him for the selection of the First Team of the All-District as well as for the second team of the All-Big 12 Conference. As a result, he won the Sammy Baugh Trophy at the end of the 2002 season as the best college passer in the US. He was named the Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year, and finished 9th in Heisman Trophy voting.
Kliff also received a scholarship from the National Football Foundation and the Hall of Fame. After that, on 6th September, 2004, he signed with New Orleans Saints and spent his entire 2004 season at the club. He was signed to the Denver Broncos’ practice squad on 6th September, 2005 and was released on September 21, 2005. Likewise, he also signed with the New Jets on September 28, 2005 and then Buffalo Bills in 2006.
