Kelly Ann Cicalese and her husband Edward J Davilla are now proud parents of a son named Leonardo Edward.
The WCVB Storm Team 5’s Weekend EyeOpener meteorologist welcomed her first baby on February 24, 2021. She confirmed the arrival of her baby through a Twitter post on 25th February.
In the tweet, she posted a couple of pictures – the first picture was of the baby, as he was sleeping soundly, while in another picture, Cicalese and her husband were holding the baby.
“My husband Edward & I are over the moon excited to announce the arrival of our son, Leonardo Edward,” she captioned.
“Born 2 minutes before midnight, Leo…was determined to enter the world on February 24th.”
Cicalese had previously shared the news of her pregnancy with the public in a very cryptic way in September 2020 via Twitter.
In the post, dated September 6, she posted a video of herself doing the weather with a caption- “I have a special LABOR day forecast to share with you all.” That caption would have just flown over people’s heads had it not been for the baby and milk bottle emojis.
After her announcement, people were quick to decipher the coded message and congratulate her on her special day.
The metrologist has been married to her husband, Davilla, since October 11, 2015. She had met him in her native town of New Jersey at Rutgers University.
The university is also the same place where the pair got married. Their wedding took place in a chapel on the main campus in New Brunswick.
Davilla is a Supervisor/Senior Customer Sales and Service Associate at Salem Five Bank.
