But she was a stage 1 melanoma- a type of skin cancer.
She was one of the few cancer patients. Who was able to diagnose life-threatening cancer at an earlier stage when it is treatable. Smith went through therapy and luckily cancer successfully healed. It’s been more than 3 years that she is cancer-free.
