Is ‘Fear Factor’ Real? Here’s What Happened to the Show

Kellie Shanygne Williams is an American actress who is most known for her role in Family Matters, an American sitcom. Williams played Laura Lee Winslow in the famous family comedy.

The sitcom premiered on September 22, 1989, and ended on July 17, 1998.

Family Matters was first shown on ABC, but CBS later took overproduction.

In a Nutshell: Kellie Shanygne Williams’ Profession

Williams, who was born in Washington, D.C. in 1976, began her acting career in 1989 after being cast in Family Matters.

Williams did work as a children’s fashion model before landing her big break on television. Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, The Colored Museum, and Buffterfingers Angel were all performed on stage by the graduates of Howard University Children’s Theatre.

Despite beginning her career at a young age, the 45-year-old actress is still working in the entertainment industry, and she was most recently seen in the romantic comedy Christmas in Carolina in 2020.

Following Family Matters, the American actress appeared in Moesha (1996-1998), What About Joan (2000-2001), In the Mix (2005), and Eve, among others (2006).

Joan Cusack, the wife of famous actor John Cusack, co-starred opposite Williams in another ABC sitcom, What About Japan, in 2001. In 2009, Williams starred in the comedy/dance film Steppin: The Movie, which was released straight to DVD.

Unfortunately, the 2-hour and 18-minute film about college students competing in a step-dance tournament was a flop because moviegoers were uninterested.

The Husband and Children of Kellie Shanygne Williams

After meeting Hannibal Jackson in 2007, Williams married him on September 5, 2009, in Fort Washinton, Maryland.

Their wedding was black and white, according to Essence.

Last year, the pair celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary, and actress Williams was quick to share a touching video of the couple on her social media page.

The African-American singer-songwriter Curtis Mayfield’s song “The Making of You” was used to accompany the love-filled video.

Jackson, her spouse, used to be a reservist in the military. He is now the President/CEO of Y-Tech, LLC, an IT firm situated in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Jackson’s father named him Hannibal after the renowned African general Hannibal Barca, according to Jackson.

Hannah Belle Jackson, their elder daughter, and John Ervin Jackson, their son, are the proud parents of the couple’s two children. Their boy was born two years later in July 2012, two years after their daughter was born in June 2010.

Her son, John Ervin, plays high school baseball, but little is known about her daughter, Hannah Belle.

On her verified Instagram account, Williams is known to post photos of her spouse and children. Her husband Hannibal was photographed with their three children at a baseball game in October 2019, and all three members of the family were dressed in baseball gear. The four-person family appears to be close-knit and united by affection in general.
