Juan Pablo Di Pace, an actor from Argentina, came out as gay in public after felt it was his duty to inform others of the truth.

In a TedX Talk that was taped in March 2019 and posted on YouTube in late June—which also happens to be Pride Month—the Buenos Aires native came out as gay.

Di Pace revealed in the YouTube video “The Story of Your Life” that after being offered the part of Jesus Christ in the NBC series A.D., he discovered it was acceptable to be gay. The Bible keeps going.

They chose me for the role out of everyone in the world who could play it, he added.

“So there I am, hanging on the cross, in Morocco, and I look up at the sky and I think, ‘You could still strike me down with lightning,'” the actor continued. Is it really you who wants me to play your son?

The most significant individuals in his life, including his parents and friends, were the first people he told about his sexuality 20 years ago, according to Di Pace’s address.

But he lacked confidence when it came to coming out to the public as gay. He added that when he was younger, he was called an anti-gay slur, and the experience had a lasting impact on his capacity to accept his own identity.

Di Pace, an Argentinean who was born, came to openly accept his identity as a result of some circumstances, including portraying Jesus Christ on-screen and the students in attendance at the TedX Talk believing his narrative could inspire them.

Di Pace, who was born on July 25, 1979, to Victorio Di Pace and Marta Maineri, has not yet disclosed any information about his romantic history, including if he has ever been in a gay relationship. He hasn’t been married yet, thus that’s the status of his marriage.

But he also says that his father keeps nagging him to find a wife and start a family. The actor continued, “My father can’t wait for me to get married and have my own kids.

The family of the Dashing in December actor also includes a brother and a sister. In the films Tutti Intorno A Linda and Survival Island, he appeared on screen alongside actress Maria Victoria di Pace, who is his sister.

Federico Di Pace, who is interested in macroeconomics, is his brother.

Di Pace, a singer as well, became well-known for his work in the 2008 musical romantic comedy Mamma Mia! in the part of Petros. He also played Fernando in the Netflix comedy series Fuller House. Others may be familiar with him from his participation in the 2018 season of Dancing with the Stars.

The emotional rollercoaster caught the viewers off guard, and several of them remarked about how the narrative had inspired them.

Some people even talked about their own experiences and how they could identify with the dancer’s feelings toward his mother.

As she watched her son’s elegant moves, his mother stood by his side during both his final performance and preparation. Yes, that was his last performance because on November 13, 2018, he was ousted along with Joe Amabile.
