TLC created yet another program based on the idea of how odd the human body can be.

My Feet Are Killing Me was created by the network following the enormous success of Dr. Pimple Popper.

A relatively new TLC health program follows foot and ankle surgeons Dr. Brad Schaeffer and Dr. Ebonie Vincent as they care for patients whose feet are sometimes practically killing them, though not always.

The show’s main character, Dr. Schaeffer, has recently generated a lot of buzzes and frequently makes appearances in the media.

Dr. Schaeffer’s Path to Medical School

Dr. Schaeffer is a so-called podiatrist who currently conducts business out of Hillsborough, New Jersey. He is a native of Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Schaeffer made a few cameos in Dwayne Johnson’s endurance-based program The Titan Games before hosting his own reality show.

Before all of that, the doctor’s adventure began when he enrolled in college at West Palm Beach, Florida’s Palm Beach Atlantic University.

He attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for medical school after graduating from college. He then completed a three-year residency program at the Carepoint Health Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Dr. Schaeffer explained why his love of athletics and physical activity, in general, led him to podiatry in an interview with 103.5 KTU.

Dr. Schaeffer, who is currently 37 years old, was raised in a blue-collar environment where both of his parents were employed.

His mother Teri’s occupation was unknown, while his father Randy worked as an electrician.

Another interesting fact about the family is that there are other doctors besides the reality star. Katie English, his younger sister, works as a nurse. English has two children and is married.

On his social media accounts, the reality star is frequently seen adorning his niece and nephew. In fact, he frequently shares photos of his entire family on Instagram, including his grandmothers and his mother’s Yorkie, Chloe, who is 10 years old.
