Chadwick Aaron Boseman aka Chadwick Boseman was born on 29th November 1976 in Anderson, South Carolina, the United States to his parents, Leroy Boseman and Carolyn Boseman. His father worked at a textile factory, managing an upholstery business and his mother at a hospital as a nurse.

He shared his childhood memories with his elder brothers, Derrick Boseman who is known to be a Preacher in Tennessee and Kevin Boseman who is a dancer and singer. Talking about his educational background, he completed his high school education from T.L. Hanna High School in 1995.

After that, he attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., and received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in directing in 2000. Later, he joined the British American Drama Academy in London for further studies. He wanted to write, direct and study acting so he went and graduated from New York City’s Digital Film Academy.
