Bobby Bones has won the season of Dancing With The Stars!

After a lengthy wait and a fierce competition, Radio Host Bobby Bones, 38, was ultimately voted the winner of Dancing With the Stars season 27. As host Tom Bergeron announced their win, Bobby and his partner Sharna Burgess burst out laughing.

Bobby couldn’t say much because he was overcome with emotion as he was declared champion.

Bobby wasn’t the only one who was pleased with the win; Sharna Burgess, Bobby’s dance partner, and apparent lover was overjoyed as well, given that it was her first Mirrorball Trophy.

The four surviving couples – Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess, Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten, Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe, and Milo Manheim and Witney Carson – gave it they’re all in a tight race on the reality dancing show’s live finale to lay claim to the Mirrorball Trophy.

The finalists were required to perform two dances: one was a freestyle for judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli, and the other was their most memorable performance from the show.

Bobby, who hosts the nationally syndicated The Bobby Bones Show, has previously expressed his dissatisfaction with the judges’ preference for a more professional dancer to celebrate the triumph.

Oh well, the radio DJ nailed his last performances with Sharna, his alleged lover, and was overjoyed that his three months of preparation had paid off.
