At that time in 1757, Jacob was in charge of the banking firm belonging to Simon Oppenheimer in the city of Hannover. Amschel gained vast knowledge of the banking system from Jacob and received good training in foreign trade and currency exchange. After gaining knowledge, Rothschild put his hand in the sector of rare coins, which lead him with the praise and help of Crown Prince Wilhelm of Hesse. Slowly, Rothschilds business became stronger day by day and began continuing all over Europe.
