On 20 May, 2019, sad news landed upon the upon the F1 fans when they heard the demise of their famous F1 racer, Niki Lauda. The champ died in the early hours of Tuesday morning reports from his native Austria. Niki died at the age of 70, at the University Hospital of Zurich, where he received the dialysis treatment for kidney problems. Nonetheless, the racer had a series of unfortunate illness regarding his health. However, Niki died peacefully on his sleep, surrounded by his loved ones.

However, the accident couldn’t stop the rider as he was racing again after just six weeks. The Austrian racer had two kidney transplants in 1997 and 2005.
