Even after her tragic and sudden death in 2012, the Queen of Disco, a.k.a. Donna Summer, has her legendary songs and three gorgeous daughters to keep her legacy alive.

Growing up as the daughters of a Disco Queen could appear to be a glamorous and carefree existence. Summer’s girlfriends, on the other hand, were not like that. She instilled in them a sense of humility and grounding.

Summer has three children with her first husband, Austrian actor Helmut Sommer, and her second husband, singer/musician Bruce Sudano: Natalia Pia Melanie, and Brooklyn and Amanda.

Natalia Pia is now an artist with her own handcrafted jewelry line. Natalia Pia, or ‘Mimi Dohler,’ is a proud mother of four and married to Richard Matther Dohler.

On Mother’s Day and her mother’s birthday, she frequently uploads images from her childhood. Natalia was obviously attached to her mother and misses her terribly.

Brooklyn Sudano, on the other hand, is a successful model and actress. She has been in commercials for brands such as Clean & Clear and Clairol. Christy Epping on the American science fiction thriller miniseries 11.22.63 is one of Brooklyn’s most well-known roles.

Brooklyn credited her mother for everything she has accomplished in one of her Instagram postings. The actress also revealed that her mother instilled in her and her sister Amanda the value of hard work.

Given the late disco queen Summer’s musical background and legacy, it’s no wonder that one of her offspring pursued a career in music. Amanda and her now-husband founded Johnnyswim, a musical duo.

Summer was a humble mother who taught her children to be grounded, modest, and diligent despite being a five-time Grammy winner and a legendary musician who reigned in the late 1970s and early 1980s. One of the reasons for this was Queen of Disco’s struggle and how it molded her.

Summer’s Fantastic Musical Adventure

Summer’s musical ability in church and school was recognized and praised by her peers at a young age. She came to New York at the age of 19 and joined the band, Crow. The band eventually disbanded because they were unable to secure a recording contract.

Summer auditioned for a part in a musical group after the band failed to take off. She was chosen and accompanied the musical’s production crew to Germany. When the singer moved to Germany, she became fluent in the language and sang several songs in German. She released her first single, ‘Aquarius,’ which was also in German when she was 20 years old.

Throughout her career, she was a force to be reckoned with, with 42 hit singles on ‘The US Billboard Hot 100.’ Furthermore, 14 of those 42 singles made it into the top ten.
