Luke Wilson rose to stardom alongside his brothers Owen and Andrew Wilson after starring in the 1996 film Bottle Rocket. While all three brothers have achieved success on the big screen, Luke envies his siblings for one thing: fatherhood, which he has yet to experience.
On several occasions, the Cosmic Sin actor has shown his love for his nephews and niece. For a long time, he has expressed his desire for children. However, Luke Wilson is still believed to be single, and there are no indications that he will marry any time soon.
Luke Wilson Is Getting Ready To Be A Father
Luke Wilson is the eldest Wilson sibling and the only one without children. Owen Wilson has two sons and a daughter with ex-partner Jade Duell: Robert Ford (born January 2011) and Finn with Swedish personal trainer Caroline Lindqvist. Varuna Vongsvirates gave birth to Owen’s daughter Lyla in October 2018, for whom he is paying child support.
Andrew Wilson, the oldest of the Wilson brothers, has a son, Joseph Obiamiwe Wils, who was born in 2003.
Luke, too, stated his wish to be a father to HollyWoodLife in 2019, claiming he had been expressing it for a long time. “It (having a family) is still a goal,” she says. ‘Luke, you said in 1996 that you wanted to be a father.’ I was doing press a few years ago, and one of the journalists I’ve known since I first arrived in town remarked to me, ‘Luke, you said in 1996 that you wanted to be a parent.’ ‘What exactly is going on?’ My own mother would never say something like that, but it was hilarious. I had no idea I had been talking about it for so long.”
The Cosmic Sin actor also expressed his affection for his nieces and nephews and expressed his eagerness to experience the joys of fatherhood, which his father cherished, before adding that he was ready to become a father:
Luke confessed that he already has a particular “Valentine” in his life, according to the HollyWoodLife article from January 2019. However, there has been no word on the actor’s girlfriend. He is still unmarried, according to multiple sources.
In a 2020 interview with Conan, Luke expressed his ideas on parenthood once more, saying, “I get along wonderfully with those boys” (his niece and nephews). They’re wonderful young kids, the kind that makes me want to start a family of my own, which I should do sooner rather than later.”
He continued with a joke about not wanting to be an old dad who had to hire someone in the neighborhood to play football with his children.
