Stephen Dorff, the embattled star of “Embattled,” now keeps personal talk to a minimum – learn about his dating history.
Stephen Dorff has been in the press several times throughout the years, either for his acting talents or for his dating/relationship adventures.
The 47-year-old actor, who is best known for his roles as vampire overlord Deacon Frost in Blade, Johnny Marco in Somewhere, PK in The Power of One, and Roland West in HBO’s crime drama True Detective’s third season, recently proved his acting worth by portraying Cash Boykins in the upcoming sports drama film Embattled.
That was in reference to his work life, which he has been pushing steadily as usual. However, the same cannot be said of his personal life, as Dorff has recently been quite quiet about it. Not just him, but no reputable publication has mentioned his current relationship or dating status.
The last time the Georgia native spoke openly about his private life was in 2006. He chatted with The Guardian about his dating experiences and what he learned about certain women.
He said in the interview that he liked girls and had “dated a number of women.” He did say, though, that he had begun to value friendship over dating someone for a short period of time.
He went on to say that he wanted to marry a wife, have children (he desired a daughter), and manage a family. “I picture myself marrying and starting a family.” “I’d love to have a daughter,” the actor remarked, adding, “I don’t want to be one of these single actors in my forties.”
During an interview with Vulture in 2010, Dorff expanded on his readiness to have children. He stated that witnessing his friends’ children inspired him to start a family. The actor even revealed that he was the godfather of one of his pal’s children.
Previously, the actor was romantically linked to a number of well-known women. According to Heavy, the celebrities include Pamela Anderson, Bridget Hall, Charlotte McKinney, Reese Witherspoon, Courtney Wagner, Katharina Damm, and Tami Donaldson.
Dorff had also attended a number of gatherings with his girlfriends in the past. In 2001, he and his then-girlfriend Rhea Durham attended the New York City premiere of Hannibal.
In September 2004, he attended the launch party for Stella McCartney’s new sports performance brand “Adidas by Stella McCartney” with his second girlfriend Shanno Click.
However, as the actor approaches his fifties, there has been no word about his dating status, and he has not been seen with any diva. However, because the actor has stated in previous interviews that he wishes to marry and have children rather than be alone in his 50s, he may be on his way to doing so.
Perhaps, in time, he’ll divulge what he’s been keeping hidden all this time.
