Matty Matheson has been married to his wife for over two decades!
Matty Matheson, a Canadian chef, and his wife, Trish Spencer, met in high school and have been together ever since.
While much has changed in the world around them, one thing that has stayed constant is their love for one another.
After 14 years of dating, Matheson and his wife married.
Trish Spencer, Matheson’s wife, and he have been married since 2000. They attended Port Colborne Catholic School together and even attended the high school prom together. The teenage sweethearts maintained a 14-year relationship by remaining faithful to each other. After that, on August 9, 2014, they married.
On their 6th wedding anniversary, the celebrity chef shared an Instagram message about his surviving relationship with his wife. He expressed his gratitude for having made a life with Trish there. He went on to say that their mutual trust and dedication allowed them to go from having nothing to having a farm and a loving family. Matheson also believed that he would want to spend the rest of his life with no one other than his wife.
They are the parents of three children.
In their relationship, the two have come a long way. On March 15, 2016, Matheson’s wife gave birth to their first child, a son named MacArthur Myer Matherson, two years after the wedding ceremony. On Oct. 31, 2018, they welcomed their second child, a daughter named Rizzo Louise Matheson, into their family.
Finally, on Oct. 1, 2020, they welcomed their third child, a daughter. Ozzy Dorothea Matheson was her name.
Now, the family of five lives happily ever after, with Matheson earning money as a star chef and his wife running Loversland, a bridal boutique in Ossington. The business opened on November 22, 2014.

Matheson was born in Toronto, Canada, and from an early age knew he wanted to be a chef. He began his profession as a chef after attending the Culinary School at Humber College in Toronto. The chef’s first position was at Le Select Bistro, where he rose through the ranks to junior sous chef in just three years. At the age of 26, he moved on to create his own restaurant, Le Select Bistro.
He’s done a lot in his career since then, including starring in the Viceland television series Dead Set on Life.
He was also the executive chef of Parts and Labour and a member of the Northern Alliance, a group of cooks from the United States and Canada.
In 2018, Matheson launched his first cookbook, “Matty Matheson: A Cookbook,” and in September 2020, he will release his second cookbook, “Matty Matheson: Home Style Cookery.”
During the epidemic, he opened two pop-up restaurants, Matty Matheson’s Meat + Three and Matty’s Patty’s Burger Club, both specializing in American barbecue. He also has a podcast called Powerful Truth Angels, which he started with artist Alex 2Tone last year.
