Rumors of cheating led to Tommicus Walker and LeToya Luckett’s divorce.

Rumors of cheating led to Tommicus Walker and LeToya Luckett’s divorce.

After three years of marriage, Tommicus Walker and LeToya Luckett announced their separation earlier this year.

The former member of Destiny’s Child made an official statement through a since-deleted Instagram post on January 11 to announce their divorce.

She posted a picture of the former couple with their kids Tyson Wolf Walker and Gianna Iman and said, “Tommicus and I have chosen to get a divorce after very deep contemplation.”

She stated, “It is my sincerest hope that we would be kind co-parents and maintain a calm environment out of respect for our children.

She thanked her well-wishers in advance for their prayers, encouragement, and time, and pleaded with them to respect their need for privacy as she concluded her lengthy caption.

Walker, a businessman from Texas, announced the breakup on Instagram and called the decision “extremely difficult.”

He wrote in a now-deleted post that he and Luckett will continue to be committed to co-parenting their two children, Gianna, 2, and Tysun, 11 months, as friends.

Internet reports of Walker cheating on Luckett circulated prior to the divorce. He also addressed the rumors through his Instagram stories on the day he announced the divorce.

Walker insisted that he had not been unfaithful to his ex-wife and accused “other forces” of upsetting their marriage.

Prior to the divorce, they visited a marriage counselor.

Walker and Luckett, who wed in a small ceremony in the Texas Hills Country in December 2017, had a rocky marriage before calling it quits.

They consequently attended marriage counseling sessions while filming T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle on VH1 in 2020.

The ex-couple separately expressed their feelings and the interruptions that were separating them in an episode that aired in May 2020.

Walker claimed that Luckett disapproved of his rudeness, blunt-speaking style, and lack of use of calming phrases.

The criticisms she heard from him included that she didn’t arrange enough alone time, didn’t cook enough, and wasn’t as patient in their fights as she used to be.

Luckett acknowledged, “I do feel that when you aren’t kind, and when you are forceful in your comments, it closes me down, all of me.

They continued to talk about their relationship while Walker drove the car to the airport following the challenging counseling session. He ultimately decided to leave Luckett behind and go to Dallas by himself.

After that, they continued to be bitter toward one another, which ultimately cost them their marriage.

Both had previous marriages

Both of them had previous marriages with other people before getting married.

Between 2006 and 2014, Walker was wed to a woman named Sherese Nix. Nix was an assistant principal at Cedar Hill ISD in the past, according to her Facebook profile, which was last updated in 2010.

The reality star and his former spouse also had a kid together; Madison Walker, a girl, was born in 2012.

Luckett, who is 40 years old, wed motivational speaker and author Rob Hill Sr. in 2016. But their secret union only lasted a few months until they split up over private matters.
