Rick James Has Four Kids
Two of James’ four children are with former vocalist and songwriter Syville Morgan: daughter Tyenza and son Rick James Jr. From 1982 to 1984, he dated actress Linda Blair after his breakup with Morgan.
After he read an interview in which she described him as attractive, he reached out to her. Unfortunately, she became expectant after their union but had an abortion. James wrote about it in his autobiography, as it was a painful decision.
James dated Tanya Hijazi after meeting her in 1989. In 1993, they greeted their only child together, son Tazman. The couple sealed the knot in 1996 and divorced six years later in 2002.
The legendary musician also has a son named Trey Hardesty James, but his mother’s identity is unknown.
Teena Marie assisted in the upbringing of Rick James Jr.
