Furthermore, the Page family’s second-youngest child was exposed to racial inequity at a young age. Rege confessed to Interview Magazine that he realized he was a walking political statement at the age of three.

Rege-Jean also stated that strolling about with his face meant that his parents had done the innovative thing that irritates people.

Page, likewise, saw the importance of establishing his identity early on and that post-colonial Zimbabwe wasn’t the healthiest setting for a mixed-race youngster. Despite the challenges, Page grew up in a loving family who exposed him to the world of acting.

Their Second Son Was Introduced To The Acting World

If you’ve been following Simon Basset, you may have noticed that Rege’s acting career began when he moved to the UK at the age of 14.

Rege-Jean Page’s parents also sent him to a Saturday school for dancing and acting due of his boisterous and attention-seeking demeanor. He went on to remark, “Get my loud attention-seeking child out of my hair for three hours,” which he found humorous.

Page’s parents also had to see their son start a punk-rock band with his brother when he was a kid because he found comfort in aggression and “breaking down artificial borders and defying standards.” Rege-Jean and his brother, Tose Page, also created TUNYA, a musical duet that composed a few forceful pieces of music.

Page is currently a quickly blooming actor in the acting profession, thanks to his family. As a result, we should expect to see more of him in the future.
