Boykin’s heart stopped on May 9th, and personnel spent 30 minutes trying to resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead at 4:00 p.m. after many failed efforts.

Isis, Christopher Boykin’s daughter, was nine years old when he died. Several fans, well-wishers, and other actors went to social media to share their grief and offer their sincere sympathies when his former wife, Shannon, announced his death on Twitter.

Isis must have been devastated to lose her father at such an early age. Her mother, on the other hand, looks after her with much love and care.

Being the daughter of an actor may have influenced Isis’ decision to follow in her parents’ footsteps. Christopher Boykin, Isis Rae Boykin’s father, rose to fame on the reality television show Rob & Big, in which he co-starred with Rob Dyrdek.
