Jessica Capshaw’s Thoughts on Raising Her Children

Capshaw and her husband are now quite good at parenting after two decades and four children, but it didn’t start out that way.

“You’re not a good snack parent for the first couple of years.”

No one likes the orange slices you brought. “Then you have to carry your orange slices home, which is kind of depressing,” she told People.

“Then it dawns on you what they actually want.” So you go ahead and do that.”

Jessica Capshaw Reflects on Working Motherhood

Capshaw admitted that finding a balance was difficult and that he had to “work very, really hard.” She also doesn’t believe in the concept of a working mother’s “work-life balance.”

“I’ve always said that being a working-outside-the-house parent has no balance. “There’s probably no such thing as a work-at-home mom’s balance,” she said.

She acknowledged that in order to fulfill one’s role as a working mother, one has give up some things.
