Jericka Duncan appears to be a natural journalist. Ronnie Duncan’s daughter, who is now a national journalist for CBS News, is the daughter of a former CBS Sports Network reporter.

Duncan’s Parents and Brothers and Sisters

Duncan is the son of Ronnie and Yvonne Duncan.

Ronnie, whose birthday is October 14, has a long history in the media industry. The award-winning journalist has worked as a sports reporter, sports anchor, sports director, talk show host, and news correspondent since beginning his career in 1978.

Ronnie is the proprietor of Slam Dunc Productions, which produced the award-winning documentary The Other Color of Winning on the famous 1964 Cleveland Browns championship squad.

Yvonne, Jericka’s mother, has a strong intellectual background. The New York native attended three universities after graduating from White Plains Senior High School. She attended Morgan State University for English, Delaware State University for Paralegal Studies/Law, and Kent State University for Paralegal Studies/Law.

Duncan and his wife, Jericka, have three children: two daughters, Jericka and Jasmine, and a son, Joshua.

Duncan turns 12 years old on August 12th.

In 2014, she was inducted into the Aurora High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Her athletic prowess earned her four state high school track and field records, which she held until her induction.

During college, Jericka continued to participate in athletics. She studied in communications and set numerous college records while attending Ohio University on both academic and athletic scholarships. In 2005, she also won the NCAAP Image Award for Athletics.

In 2007, she began her career at WETM-TV. Jericka, a mother of one, worked hard and achieved her goal of becoming a national correspondent for CBS News in 2013.

Her parents are proud of her because of her tenacity and hard work. Her father, who is currently a journalist for Cleveland 19, is her biggest supporter and is quite proud of her achievements.

He lauded her in 2019, saying she was a wonderful daughter and mother.

Jericka’s siblings are both married.

Jericka is the oldest of Jericka’s two younger siblings.

Since August 2016, Joshua, her younger brother, has worked as an educator at lululemon Huntsville, a sportswear retailer. He also works at SweatLocal, a fitness center, as a trainer and instructor.

His Facebook profile bio reads, “I assist the fearful become fearless!” He accomplishes this by keeping individuals fit and healthy. Joshua has a married life in addition to his job. On August 4, 2019, he proposed to Danielle Nicole Low, and they will marry in mid-2020.

Likewise, Jasmine, Jericka’s younger sister, is married and has a child with her husband.
