The Paris native lost herself in parenthood in her 30s. Her mother reminded her to be careful. She felt her kids were essential, but she needed care for herself.

Her mother predicted a wonderful 40s before she turned 40. Szostak asked her mother why she was upset. Her mum said she knew.
