Now, the 45-year-old actress feels reinvigorated because of her spouse and kids.

Szostak lost herself in motherhood

Byrdie magazine interviewed Szostak in October 2019 about her skincare and profession. She cited her mother’s advice when asked about her biggest life lesson in each decade.

The Paris native lost herself in parenthood in her 30s. Her mother reminded her to be careful. She felt her kids were essential, but she needed care for herself.

Her mother predicted a wonderful 40s before she turned 40. Szostak asked her mother why she was upset. Her mum said she knew.

The actress said her mother’s statements were real.

My husband and kids gave me resilience

Szostak says she’s found herself after a difficult 30s.

She acknowledged her husband Britt Szostak and their two sons for her newfound happiness and vitality.

In 1992, the power couple spent Valentine’s Day in Paris. On August 30, 1996, they promised to be each others forever.

Britt is a former financial planner and partner of Wall Street-focused Lenox Advisor.

The couple lives in Westport, Connecticut, with their two sons and a dog. They attended a fundraiser in NYC on 11/3/11.
