The TV personality accepted a plea agreement from Snohomish County prosecutors and pleaded guilty to assault in the fourth degree. The Seattle Times announced on July 16, 2018, that Hansen would not be receiving a jail sentence.

He was given a 364-day jail term with a suspension, ordered to pay $1,653 in court fees, and required to undergo testing and treatment for sexual deviance.

Hansen has remained unassuming ever since the charges in 2018. He doesn’t use social media, therefore little is known about his current situation.

The status of his participation in the Deadliest Catch is also unknown. However, Hansen’s biography has been taken down from the show’s website.

Even though his final episode aired in August 2018, there are reports that he is still working on the show behind the scenes. .
