Edgar Hansen was one of the series’ most notable fishermen. He appeared in 153 episodes and held the positions of engineer, deck supervisor, and replacement captain. However, he served as Sig’s right-hand man the majority of the time.

He was given a 364-day jail term with a suspension, ordered to pay $1,653 in court fees, and required to undergo testing and treatment for sexual deviance.

Hansen has remained unassuming ever since the charges in 2018. He doesn’t use social media, therefore little is known about his current situation.

The status of his participation in the Deadliest Catch is also unknown. However, Hansen’s biography has been taken down from the show’s website.
