Hallie Jackson, a well-known journalist, is a content mother to her daughter Monroe Jackson Thorp, who is one.
On March 9, 2020, the senior Washington correspondent for NBC News welcomed her daughter along with her partner Frank Thorp, an NBC News producer and off-air reporter.
Jackson shared the good news with Today a few days after the birth of her first child. She revealed that despite being delivered a few weeks earlier than anticipated (early April), the 5-pound, 9-ounce bundle of joy was born healthy.
The native of Pennsylvania went on to say that she and Thorp gave their daughter the middle name Monroe “Ro” Jackson in honor of her great-great-grandfather.

On November 17, 2019, Jackson made her first pregnancy announcement during a Sunday Mail piece with Sunday TODAY presenter Willie Geist.
The 37-year-old correspondent expressed her excitement and that of her partner Thorp while displaying a photo of the couple clutching a onesie with the words “Guess what?” scrawled across it.

Jackson informed her followers of the news on Instagram the same day. She shared the same image that she had displayed on air.

According to reports, the Johns Hopkins University alumna and Thorp, the father of her child, had been dating since the beginning of the year. She first began referencing him in her Instagram postings, and then they later exchanged photos.
She once shared a selfie of herself wearing a yellow dress and a grey hat while on vacation in Italy at Palazzo Bernardini. According to the caption of her post from August 18, 2019, the photo was taken by her current partner.
In relation to Thorp, NBC has been working with him since 2010. He began by updating the NBC News headquarters in Atlanta and New York City on a variety of events taking place in Haiti. He then held a job in the House of Representatives before assuming his present role as a producer and off-air reporter.
The West Virginia University alumnus worked for CBS News before joining NBC News.
Jackson and Thorp have not yet exchanged vows with one another. However, they are loving every minute of raising their young daughter.
