Kyla Pratt, the famous Breanna Latrice Barnes from the TV series One on One, and Maya from the Dr. Dolittle film series started pocketing roles and amassing fame from a young age.
Although she began her career in the entertainment world at the age of 7 and invested a lot of time in acting lessons and auditions, she had a relatively ordinary upbringing in Long Beach, Los Angeles.

One of Pratt’s half-brothers, Allen Pratt, was born on October 8, 1988. Unfortunately, his biological father, Stacey Allen Morris, is no more in this world.
Pratt maintains a close bond with her brother despite being step-siblings. On his 33rd birthday, the Los Angeles native posted his picture on Instagram and penned a heartwarming message for him.
“Happy Birthday to my Day 1, my brudda. I love you!” she wrote before requesting her fans and followers to show him some birthday love.
Pratt’s Other Brother Is Doheen Pratt
Pratt’s other brother is Doheen Pratt. When Dohmen was 13 years old, he was convicted as a minor for the murder of a 19-year-old girl named Nicole Williamson.
As per CBS Los Angeles’ report, Doheen fatally shot Williamson in the head, during a drive-by shooting, to impress a local gang. Williamson died on the spot in front of her parents. Doheen was arrested and imprisoned at a California youth correctional facility.
He served eight of his ten-year sentence at the facility and was released in December 2013 at the age of 22.
Doheen has grown up to be a responsible man. On June 14, 2020, for his 30th birthday, Pratt posted a picture with him on her Instagram and wrote, “Happy Birthday to the real one.”
Kyla Pratt Has a Younger Sister In Her family
Pratt has a baby sister named Kejahn. On her 18th birthday, Pratt shared a collage of her sister’s pictures and expressed her disbelief at her sister’s growing age.
She wrote, “My Baby is 18 today. I can’t deal.” Then she ended her caption with, “I love you. Happy Birthday Beautiful. @kejahn_tiye.”
Although Pratt has shared tidbits about her three siblings, she has dropped no hints about the identity of her fourth sibling. It’s not even known whether the fourth one is her brother or sister.
She has maintained the same privacy regarding her parents. The last time she mentioned them, or just her mother, on her Instagram was on Mother’s Day 2014.
The 35-year-old had expressed her gratitude towards her mother, stating, “Thank you for all that you have done and all that you do. I love you Ma.”
