In 1990, the University of Maryland alum’s first job after graduation in radio/television and cinema was as a sportscaster for WTTG-TV. After joining the Golf Channel in 1995, he went on to star in a number of the channel’s staple programs until going to ESPN in 2001.
In addition to becoming an ESPN SportsCenter host, he also co-hosted radio programmes for the network.
The host is also the face of ESPN’s golf coverage, hosting the network’s coverage of the world’s most prestigious golf tournaments, including the Masters. Fans adore Scott because of his distinctive manner of presenting and the numerous accents he can imitate, which makes reporting enjoyable.
