Meena Harris, who was born to a 17-year-old Maya Harris, was raised in a family of all women without a father. Meena introduced her mother and Tony West, who is now married, and she grew fond of him.

Maya and West related the tale of how they came to know Stanford Lawyer. West and a four-year-old Meena played hide and seek on his first day of law school at Stanford. After meeting Meena’s mother for the first time and dating her for ten years, West was then introduced to her.

Maya, Meena’s mother, is an attorney who served as Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign’s Senior Policy Advisor. Kamala Harris succeeded her sister as the 49th Vice-President of the United States, continuing their political legacy.

Meena is a lawyer, much like her mother and aunt are. She attributes her success to her grandmother, a scientist and breast cancer researcher, as well as to her mother and aunt, whom she views as role models.

West, Meena’s father, is an attorney who once held the position of Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division of the Department of Justice. In his current position with Uber, he serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary.

Meena has written two books for youngsters under her own name. In June 2020, Kamala and Maya’s Big Idea, her debut book, was released.

The book elaborates on issues related to activism and community-building and is based on the childhood of her mother and aunt. Lessons about teamwork and the power of one person to affect change are also found in the book.

Ambitious Girl, Meena’s second book, was released in 2021. She claimed that the goal of the book was to highlight the struggles that women and girls confront while also inspiring young readers.

According to the summary, “it teaches kids how to reframe, redefine, and reclaim words intended to bring them down.”

After its release, Ambitious Girl rose to the top of the New York Times bestseller list.

CEO and founder of “Phenomenal”

On International Women’s Day in 2016, Meena created and offered “Phenomenal Women” t-shirts in an effort to raise money for charities including Planned Parenthood and Girls Who Code. What at first was a modest endeavor quickly expanded into the Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign.

The campaign now sells numerous clothing items under its umbrella and promotes awareness about problems impacting underrepresented cultures.

Harris posted on Instagram in March 2018 to express his happiness at the campaign’s success. Five hundred t-shirts over the course of a month were the initial goal she had set for her sales.

Two daughters’ mother

Nikolas Ajagu and Meena are married, and the couple has two daughters, Amara and Leela.
