Michelle Stafford of ‘The Young and the Restless’ became a mother of two after years of trying.
Michelle Stafford faced several challenges on her way to becoming a mother. After failing to conceive through artificial insemination and adoption, the two-time Daytime Emmy Award winner had no choice but to choose surrogacy to have her own children.
Surrogacy for Motherhood
The 55-year-old actress has long dreamed of becoming a mother and having her own children. Unfortunately, she had fertility troubles, so it was not easy for her.
She didn’t give up on her dream of starting a family, though, and tried various reproductive treatments like artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization (IVF). She had four operations and three egg retrievals. Unfortunately for her, none of this worked.
She then attempted to adopt orphans but was unsuccessful. As a result, three years after her persistent attempts to become a mother, the star of The Young and the Restless chose surrogacy.
For the process, she enlisted the assistance of Fertility Miracles and IVF specialist Dr. Buylos.
Stafford said she was expecting a surrogate kid in December after three years of failure in an exclusive interview with People on September 8, 2009.
Natalia Scout Lee Stafford, her lovely daughter, was born on December 21, 2009.
Jameson Jones Lee Stafford was born on October 23, 2015, to the Stafford family.
The proud mother of two has spent the majority of her time since then caring for her children. She also finds time to post some cute images of herself and her children on social media.
Stafford is looking for a husband.
We can claim she is unmarried and has yet to exchange wedding vows with someone she loves because to the actress’s candor about her personal experiences.
Several of her Twitter posts, in which she generally discusses how difficult it is to raise children as a single mother, reveal her single status.
Aside from that, the actress from Durant’s Never Closes has spoken up about her desire to find a partner with whom she can raise her children.
For example, in a December 26, 2011 message to Christian Le Blanc, she joked that she was weary of cleaning up the mess her kids make and needed a husband to do it for her.
Stafford, meantime, said in a June 27, 2012 tweet that she was searching for a husband who could ‘hold the reins’ for her for a while.
