Mann met her future husband during the pre-production of The Cable Guy, which he directed in 1996. Apatow fell in love with the lovely actress at first sight when she arrived for the audition.
Apatow went to great lengths to impress her, even inviting her to supper at his home. Mann finally fell in love with the University of Southern California alum, though it took some time. They began dating after that.

Mann married her partner on June 9, 1997, in Los Angeles, after only a year of dating. On December 15, 1997, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Maude Apatow, into their family.
On October 12, 2002, they welcomed their second daughter, Iris Apatow, into the world.
Both of Mann’s daughters have dabbled with acting. Maude, 23, co-starred in Knocked Up with her mother, and Iris, 18, joined them in the sequel.

On October 25, 2019, Mann and Apatow engaged in a public brawl outside of the Katsuya restaurant in Los Angeles. According to Page Six, the pair was having a screaming match.
Following the conversation, both exited in their Cadillacs, with Mann slamming the door shut after getting in.
A month later, in an interview on The View, Apatow discussed the episode and quipped that they had battled in every restaurant in the city. He continued,
