Is There a Death in the Cast of ‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’?

Is There a Death in the Cast of ‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’?

The cast of Pit Bulls and Parolees has spent the past fifteen seasons attempting to make a point: we can all join together to love and care for dogs! The show goes beyond the rehabilitation and adoption of vicious dogs to send a positive message about animal rescue. However, many believe that the message would not have been communicated as well if the cast had not been so impressive.

What Was the Beginning of It All?

Tia Torres’ passion for animals led her to create the Villalobos Rescue Center in California. It all started in the 1990s for wolves and wolf-dog hybrids. As a result, the name Villalobos was coined, which means “wolf village.” Torres’ life, however, changed when she met a very special Pit Bull.

Torres described how she occurred to visit an animal sanctuary in Tatanka and encountered a traumatized Pit Bull in an interview. The unfortunate doggo was rescued from a double homicide scene. Torres stated that she was shackled with ropes and pulled as if she were “some African Lion.”

Before she could intervene, the dog began kissing Torres’ daughters affectionately. Torres was inspired to launch her rescue campaign for fearful breeds after her unexpected encounter. So began a mission to save wolves and wolf hybrids! However, pit bulls were the majority of the sanctuary’s prisoners.

Torres has been interviewed by a number of celebrities in recognition of her exceptional commitment to nature. Her decision to appear on camera with her wolf-saving effort has kept it afloat for many years, despite her abstention from celebrity. Pit Bulls and Parolees is here to stay, with stories of second chances in every episode!

‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’ Women You Should Know

Torres grew up in a shattered family in southern California and had a difficult childhood. She wished for a family of her own and has been caring for stray animals since she was a small child.

It was a trying period, and her stepmother, whom she referred to as Mom, was the sole caretaker of her little zoo. Torres credits her compassionate tendencies and discipline to her mother’s upbringing. Her mother taught her that no companionship is as faithful as an animal, despite the fact that she grew up without a father figure in her life.

Torres’ two daughters began to share her mother’s interest for animals years later. Tania took care of the two wolf hybrids she had saved, and when she grew older, she began traveling as an animal trainer’s assistant. She was discovered with her pack of wolves in several locations, following in her mother’s ways.

Mariah was born in the realm of wolves and pit bulls, unlike her older sister Tania. She was a free spirit who was always up for a romp in the woods with her dogs. Her life was riddled with inconsistencies, as she was eager to pull herself up and compete in beauty pageants.

Anthony Allen’s Unexpected Death

On June 28, 2015, Anthony Allen, a dog owner who appeared in Pit Bulls and Parolees, died. He adopted Ana, a rescue pit bull, in the season six premiere of the show. Anthony was a man with a wide range of interests, and he fought cancer until his last breath.
