Candace Cameron Bure wished her fans a “Happy New Year” on Instagram on January 3, 2021, and accompanied it with a gorgeous family photo. Regrettably, the netizens were less than complimentary in their responses.
Nonetheless, it was clear that this was not the first time Candace had been the target of internet trolls.

The image in question depicted the entire Bure family posing on their porch, including spouse Valeri Bure, daughter Natasha, 22, and sons Lev, 21, and Maksim, 19. The Hallmark actress and her husband clung to each other, their bodies facing the children and their faces glowing with a smile for the camera.
Classic denim trousers were worn by the guys, who were matched with cozy sweaters. The mother wore a white dress with black boots, while the kid wore a green dress with a brown belt. Natasha, like her mother, went with boots, except hers were brown rather than black.
The actress expressed her New Year’s Day greetings in the post, saying she was looking forward to what this year had in store for her. She prayed for humanity’s unity, grace, humility, compassion, and love.
She gave virtual hugs and kisses to everyone who saw her post before announcing that her social media hiatus was over.
While the recent remarks are full of love and generosity, they are essentially a reaction to the earlier vitriol she had experienced.
“I find nothing wrong with any of the photos,” one reader said, “and you have a lovely family.”
Candace Cameron Bure replied with a clap.
Candace, on the other hand, was not one to remain silent; as E! Online put it, “she is particularly excellent at telling the haters to STFU—respectfully.” That’s exactly what she did on an episode of the outlet’s Daily Pop in January.
She mentioned how people often mistake her for a celebrity and forget that she, too, is a genuine person. She went on to say,
She then clapped out at the naysayers, stating they should keep their mouths quiet because she was only sharing the best of what she believed her family looked like on a Christmas card.
A Unique Holiday!
This year’s Christmas card was understandably more special for the Full House alum than previous ones, as it arrived after a year and a half of trying circumstances.
Her relationship with her spouse “became pretty hairy after the first few months” of house seclusion, she acknowledged to Yahoo! Lifestyle.
Thankfully, the couple, who had been married for 25 years, was reunited. She attributed their marriage’s survival on their three amazing children.
She also said that the couple became “closer and tighter” after working through their difficulties.
