Ashlyn Harris, the future goalkeeper for the US national team, was a teammate of Britt’s when she played soccer as a student and in high school.
Bio of Britt McHenry
Britt McHenry, the daughter of an Air Force Lt. Colonel, was born on May 28, 1986, in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey. Britt was raised in Satellite Beach, Florida, where she attended Satellite High School and later moved after her family relocated there.
Later, Britt attended Stetson University and received a degree.
Britt later enrolled in Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism as a future journalist.
ESPN & the Towing Scandal: Britt McHenry’s Journalism Career
Following her graduation from Northwestern, Britt began her career as a sports reporter and stand-in anchor for the ABC Washington affiliate WJLA-TV and NewsChannel 8. She returned to ABC 7 in the middle after spending two weeks as a dugout reporter for Fox Sports San Diego.
Britt once more left ABC 7 in 2014 and found work at ESPN. For well-known programs like Sportscenter, Baseball Tonight, and NFL Live, she first worked as a correspondent. Britt was embroiled in controversy on April 16, 2015, while working for ESPN, after a video clip of her cursing at a tow lot employee appeared on LiveLeak.
Britt was suspended by ESPN for a week when they saw the footage. The towing company said they didn’t want ESPN to dismiss Britt for her statements, and Britt apologized for her foolish conduct.
Britt continued to work for ESPN until she was let go in 2017 due to a mass layoff. On April 27, 2017, she will complete her final task, which she announced via Twitter. Additionally, she implied in her post that her political conservatism was a factor in why she was fired.
Because she “was white and paid too much,” she said in a tweet, she was fired. The tweet has since been removed, but while it was still visible on her feed, it did not cause any ire.
Thereafter, Britt started working for Fox News as a commentator and the host of the program Like It Or Not.
A husband ought to enjoy chili queso!
Britt has kept her relationship status and information about her boyfriend private in order to concentrate on her personal life. She had no previous intimate relationships with any males who would have been considered her boyfriends. Even so, she has occasionally mentioned a trait she hopes to find in her future partner.
On April 2, 2015, Britt uploaded a photo of herself with a man to Instagram, writing in the caption that she would marry the man who “shares an abnormal love of cheap Chili’s queso.”
Interestingly, according to her social media posts, Britt appears to have met a married man who fits her criteria. The same individual who appeared in the Chili Queso post has timely appeared in Britt’s Instagram postings. The tennis player Tennys Sandgren spends a lot of time with Britt, and her social media posts have reflected that.
On June 4, 2018, Britt uploaded a photo of herself and her alleged lover, making it clear that they were traveling together to Paris. She said she was there to support him in the caption.
Additionally, on June 17, 2018, Sho shared a selfie taken with Tennys on Instagram and said that her lover finds time for her even when he is competing.
It is very obvious from her social media encounters with Tennys that the two are linked in some form, and that Britt has discovered the front-runner for a Chili Queso-loving husband. She has yet to discuss her relationship status with him and disclose their affair.
