Spencer Paysinger, the inspiration behind the sports drama series All American, is a happily married man.

The former American football linebacker is married to Blair Paysinger, a graphic designer, and entrepreneur. She founded the internet marketplace Post 21 and is a co-owner of the Hilltop Coffee and Kitchen chain, which has locations in View Park-Windsor Hills, Inglewood, and Glassell Park.

A Perfect Wedding At Palm Springs

They had been friends since high school. And they had been wed for over five years at this point.

On May 27, 2016, they exchanged vows during a destination wedding at the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, California.

The bride wore a contemporary two-piece outfit to their wedding, which included a silk organza skirt and a crop top with Chantilly lace.

The groom complemented Blair with his custom green suit and white shirt with a vintage pearl tie bar and suede loafers.

The presence of the couple’s family and close friends enhanced the attractiveness of the wedding. The song “Real Good Hands,” which was sung for the bride’s processional into the courtyard, had its lyrics revised by Blair’s mother, which was the icing on the cake.

The highlight of the wedding was a playlist of ’90s R & B hits, a family-style feast of blackened catfish with crawfish étouffée, five nude cakes in three different flavors, and huge Jenga blocks.

Blair was proud of her wedding preparations when she revealed, “We chose ‘Love on Top’ by Beyoncé because every time it comes on in the car, we both jam!'”

They both shared a photo on their individual Instagram accounts celebrating their five years of marriage.

Spencer, on his Instagram post, stated his disagreement with people who claimed: “marriage meant settling down.” There are no signs of “settling down,” he repeated, referring to the photos of him and his wife that were taken five years apart.

The couple is also blessed with two gorgeous children: Cairo and Madden. Madden turned two in July 2021, while Cairo celebrated her fourth birthday on May 15, 2021.

Because Spencer’s life and career served as an inspiration for the 2018 The CW television series All American, he has recently attracted enormous media attention. After being picked up by Netflix in 2021, the show once again put a former athlete’s life in the spotlight.
