Jimmy Fortune, tenor for the band The Statler Brothers, and his wife Nina have been happily married for almost two decades.

However, there was a time in the life of the American country music singer when he simply could not maintain his marriage. Indeed, the 66-year-old has been through two previous divorces before finally finding happiness in a committed relationship with the stunning Nina.

In October 2020, the pair celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. Several well-wishers in 2019 had mistakenly wished the married couple 21st-anniversary greetings.

Jimmy posted, “Nina and I have received many happy anniversaries wishes today,” reminding his army of fans that the couple’s wedding anniversary is on October 10. Want to express gratitude and share that our 21st wedding anniversary is coming up on October 10!

Nina has been very vocal about supporting her husband’s new acting endeavors. On the country singer’s official website on December 17, 2020, she announced a Virtual Christmas Show with Jimmy Fortune & Friends.

Two Separations for Jimmy

The country artist, who has been married for 22 years, was once pessimistic about his personal life due to his two previous divorces.

The musician never really talked about his first two marriages or their difficulties in public. In reality, no one knows either of his wives’ names or anything about his two marriages.

On the other hand, during an interview with Cornerstone Television Network in February 2020, Jimmy revealed that 1993 was a difficult year for him for many reasons, including a “pretty painful divorce.”

The Elizabeth singer doesn’t talk about his personal life beyond the fact that he has kids from past relationships. Again, the number of children he had with each of them is uncertain.

According to the Reference source, Jimmy and his new wife have already welcomed four children.

After three marriages, Jimmy told Cowboys & Indians magazine in September 2019 that he was the father of seven children and eleven grandkids.

Jessica, Meghann, and Cortney are his daughters, while Grant, Chris, Matthew, and Jimmy Fortune Jr. are his sons. Again, though, it is not made clear [as is the case with most of his private life data] from which partner they originate.

Meanwhile, the famous singer lamented in the interview that he had to spend so much time “on the road with the Statler Brothers” and missed out on quality time with his loved ones back home.

However, the artist from Virginia is prioritizing family time now that he is in his 40s.
