Covid has made an appearance on The Late Show.

After host Stephen Colbert tested positive for the virus, CBS canceled the show for tonight.

The comedian stated that he is “essentially feeling well” and that he is thankful for being vaccinated and boosted.

Jason Bateman and Laura Linney from Ozark, as well as Matt Walsh from Veep, were scheduled to appear on the show today.

Instead, CBS will broadcast a rerun of the film, which will feature Josh Brolin and a performance by The Who.

The show was supposed to go on break next week, therefore the next original episode will air on May 2.
