Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed a baby girl almost three months ago, and while fans have been eagerly awaiting more information on the little bundle of joy, her parents have been very careful in sharing information about her, diligently guiding her privacy, and keeping her away from prying paparazzi cameras.

According to a TMZ report, the kid was called Malti Marie by her celebrity parents, according to a birth certificate obtained by the outlet. She was also born in San Diego at about 8 p.m. on January 15, according to the papers.
Malti Marie is a name that honors both Chopra and Jonas’ cultural heritage. Malti is an Indian name that pays homage to Chopra’s mother, whose full name is Madhumalti Chopra. The name derives from Sanskrit and means ‘fragrant flower’ moonlight.’
Malti Marie Chopra Jonas will be the child’s complete name, as she will inherit both of her parents’ surnames.

The 39-year-old actress, who married the ‘Sucker’ singer in 2018, shared the wonderful news of their baby’s arrival in January of this year.
“We are pleased to announce that we have welcomed a surrogate baby into our family.” We humbly request privacy during this unique time so that we can devote our attention to our family. Thank you very much,” read a joint message on Instagram.

The pair had sought ‘privacy’ from their admirers during their special time,’ as the announcement indicated. While the ‘Baywatch’ actress and the singer of ‘This Is Heaven’ have been preoccupied with parenthood, they have several job commitments lined up for this year.
