Sara Shookman, 31, and her husband have been married for a year; is she ready to start a family?

Sara Shookman, a journalist in the United States, had no desire for a fairytale wedding. However, the story of how her love for her husband grew is nothing short of a heartwarming fairytale.

The Ohio native is best known as the co-anchor of WKYC’s newscast, for which she has won an Emmy. She has also worked for WKYC as a general assignment reporter.

She previously worked as a reporter for VLT Local 8 News, WVLT Volunteer TV, WOUB Radio & Television, and Scripps New Athens MidDay, among other stations.

She is a well-known journalist who has won five regional Emmys and the Edward R. Murrow Award.

On October 10, 1986, I was born Sara Shookman was raised in Akron, Ohio, with her four siblings: Scott, Becky, and Kimberly.

She went to Manchester High School for her secondary education. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Broadcast News, and Economics from Ohio University, which she received summa cum laude.

When she met Fox8 Cleveland anchor Tracy McCool at a career fair in seventh grade, she knew she wanted to work in the broadcast industry.

As an associate producer for APS15 Community Television in 2006, she buckled down to pursue her dreams of becoming a journalist. She worked as an intern for WKYC-TV in 2007 during her time at Ohio University.

She later worked as an intern for NBC Universal for three months in 2008 and for one month for WPBN-WTOM 7&4 News.

She began her career as a reporter/anchor for WOUB in 2006 after accumulating enough experience to propel her career to new heights. She worked as a multimedia reporter for WVLT from 2009 to 2011 after serving for three years in the military. She then worked as a fill-in anchor and morning reporter for VLT Local 8 News for a year in 2011.

She is expected to receive a salary of $47K as a WKYC-TV employee.

Angelo DiFranco, a project manager at Paragon Consulting, and the stunning reporter, who stands 5’9 inches tall, have been married since 2017. The pair met for the first time in 2005 at Ohio University, where they were introduced by a mutual acquaintance as “hi..hello” buddies.

In 2012, they reconnected in Cleveland at the apartment of a mutual acquaintance. In 2015, her husband gave a wedding speech at the same friend’s wedding in which he proclaimed his love for Sara as well.

Isn’t that adorable and romantic? Shookman agreed to a date after the confession. The following year, on a romantic Lake Erie sunset boat, her spouse proposed to her.

Furthermore, the gorgeous pair wedded at the Historic Coast Guard Station on Whiskey Island in Cleveland in a nautical-themed wedding ceremony. Following the wedding, they went on a European honeymoon!!!
