Jason Nash, the star of Vlog Squad, disclosed in one of his recent interviews that his net worth listed on the popular website Celebrity Net Worth was wrong. However, the comic, who has been in the stand-up business for over 20 years and is an active YouTube vlogger, was hesitant to put a figure on his annual profits.
From SNL aide to YouTube sensation
Nash was an assistant at Saturday Night Live (SNL) before becoming the YouTube star he is now, charged with the onerous task of answering phones. Today, the 47-year-old is a member of the Vlog Squad, a hugely popular YouTube organization.
Nash earns a living through his own Vlogs in addition to his work with the Vlog Squad. The comic admitted that his YouTube channel, which has 3.2 million subscribers, is how he makes a living.
In a January 2019 interview with the Boston Globe, the stand-up comedian stated that AdSense, a Google program that helps YouTubers make money by inserting advertising in their videos, provided the majority of his revenue.
Nash refuted the claim of a $1 million net worth.
Nash rejected the site Celebrity Net Worth’s assertion regarding his net worth in the same interview with the Boston Globe. The YouTuber said that he was broke when he first started on YouTube, but the platform had erroneously calculated his net worth to be $1 million.
The comedian revealed that he earned between $1,000 and $3,000 every video when asked how much he is worth.
Along with his films, Nash has launched a redbubble apparel line and a game app called Jason Nash Carpool Dad. In addition to his vlogs, the comedian has a weekly podcast show with David Dobrik and a Patreon account, where he offers more details about his personal life and behind-the-scenes material from his vlogs.
Nash received a Tesla from Dobrik!
In one of Dobrik’s videos, the well-known social media personality surprised Nash with a brand new Tesla thanks to SeatGeek. Dobrik drives up to his comedian friend’s vacation home with his mother and children in the video.
Dobrik blasted a half-naked Nash with his paintball pistol after finding him, then surprised him with a brand new Tesla car.
The comedian was overjoyed when he received the car and was visibly moved as he thanked Dobrik at the end of the video. Nash dropped by the same video’s comment area to praise David for his kindness, saying he didn’t feel deserving of the Tesla but was having the time of his life with it.
