Alexis Bellino of the Real Housewives of Orange County and her spouse Jim have divorced after thirteen years of marriage.

Jim, the former ‘Real Housewives of Orange County star’s spouse, filed for divorce on June 21, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The estranged couple married on April 16, 2005, and have three children: 7-year-old son James and 5-year-old twin girls Melania and Mackenna.

Jim, a 56-year-old businessman, is seeking shared legal and physical custody of their children, as well as spousal maintenance. According to TMZ, he listed their date of separation as ‘TBD.’

Alexis, 41, is divorcing for the second time, having previously married her college love, Jeff Barry, from 2002 to 2004. Their marriage lasted only 15 months before the couple divorced.

Infidelity, alcoholic brawls, computer hacking, violent threats, and missing money were all included in the back-and-forth claims contained in their divorce filing, according to Star Magazine’s 2009 issue.

While speaking with Star Magazine, Jeff also claimed that Alexis had cheated on him.

Alexis was having an affair with an affluent father of three she met in a gym, according to him.

Alexis, who turns 19 on January 19, said that Jeff carried out a horrific “computer invasion” of her email account and even withdrew $10,000 from their joint savings account in her defense.

Alexis will now have to confront her most serious fear: divorce.

Jim was seen by paparazzi kissing a strange woman in Las Vegas less than a month after filing for divorce. When asked about his ex-wife, he told RadarOnline:

Surprisingly, she was joined to the ceremony by a “male friend.”

Following their breakup, the former lovers appear to be on good terms, as proven by Bellino’s JAMM Family Trust purchasing a four-bedroom property in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County. Alexis’ name was later added to the deed of the freshly purchased 5-bathroom 3,3730 sq ft mansion. She was said to have spent $1.3 million on the mansion.

The ex-flames aren’t strangers to spending a lot of money on a home. Alexis and Jim bought an oceanfront mansion for $4 million in May of 2018, a month before the news of their divorce surfaced.

Alexis, a conservative Christian housewife, talked to her therapist in 2011 about her deep-seated concerns of divorce, which were negatively impacting her marriage with businessman Jim.

She had also dealt with her parents’ divorce during her upbringing, not just with Jeff.
