In 2015, Kevin Gates wed Dreka Gates, his longtime partner. Although Dreka is most frequently thought of as Kevin’s wife, she has achieved great success in her career independent of her marriage.

Later, in 2006, she graduated with a degree in fashion merchandising from Louisiana State University. Even though her official position, according to her LinkedIn page, was Artist Management Specialist, at that point she was already working as Kevin’s manager.
