As previously stated, Mekhi Phifer began dating Oni Souratha after his divorce from his first wife, Malinda Williams, in 2003. Phifer and Souratha had been dating for over three years before they got engaged on May 9, 2007.

Mekhi had declared to the public that Oni was a beautiful and accomplished housewife during their time together. He also revealed to the public that he and Oni were planning to marry soon. Nonetheless, numerous changes in their lives caused issues in their love lives. Mekhi and Oni did not marry as a result, and their romance terminated in 2008.

Thailand’s Oni Souratha is a Thai native. She was born in Los Angeles and moved there with her nine siblings when she was a child. She made her way into the American entertainment industry there in the United States. For several years, Oni worked as a Production Manager for a number of films.

The talented Oni isn’t the only Souratha who has made a name for herself in the film industry. Tida Souratha, her older sister, is also a well-known actress who has played a variety of hard and deep roles. When Oni Souratha was a little child, her older sister worked for a swimwear brand. She has experienced the creative mayhem of everything from design to runway displays since she was a child. Oni chose to start her own swimsuit company after generating ideas for the swimwear line. Oni dealt with all parts of both businesses after working in the entertainment and executive management industries for over fifteen years. From January 2011 through October 2012, she worked as a leasing professional for GHP Management in Los Angeles, California.

In October 2012, Oni began working with Regus as a Client Service Representative. Later, from November 2016 to December 2017, she worked as an Operations Center Manager at Regus. Oni became the Area Manager of Regus after 2017 and remained there till September 2018.

Oni also joined Douglas Emmett Management Inc. in October 2018 as an Assistant Property Manager after leaving Regus. She has been serving there since since. Working directly with the property manager, assisting in the management of an administrative assistant, and other duties are among her responsibilities at the Douglas Emmett.
